Just wanted to invite you (Bangkok BJJ students) to send in any comments you may have about the academy for us to think about for the next year. Things you like and things you feel could improve. Professor and I want to make sure we continue to make Bangkok BJJ the very best it can be and your feedback is always appreciated. Below is a list of some topics that if you have some time, e-mail me your thoughts.

TAICHI-SAN'S SEND-OFF DINNER
As I'm sure most of you have heard, our good friend/teammate Taichi-san will be returning to Japan after having lived in Bangkok for nearly 10 years. For those that know Taichi-san, he's got his own brand of humor, just ask to see his ankle-tattoos.You're all invited to the send-off dinner at Great American Rib Company on Sukhumvit Soi 36 @ 7pm this Sunday (Nov 22). Depending on the turnout we can order the 'feast' or make individual orders but we should all pitch in for our VIP.
Please e-mail me if you're planning on coming so I can make the proper arrangements. -Luke

WHITE-BELT FESITIVAL + BBQ PARTY!!!
Hi All,
Remember, this coming Saturday (Nov 7) there will be no morning class or open-mat. We will be holding our final WHITE-BELT FESTIVAL for 2009 + celebrating Bangkok BJJ's 1-Year Anniversary with a BBQ to follow the matches. If you haven't signed up yet, please do so before Friday this week with your name, weight-category and e-mail. I will be finalizing the brackets Friday evening.
Things should kick-off at about 9am.
Even if you're not a white-belt competing, we encourage everyone to come and cheer on your teammates and stick around for the celebration afterwards.
I am also very happy to announce that we have a sponsor for this event. GROUND SKILLZ 'combat sports wear' will be awarding winners with prizes so a big thanks to to them.
